Galaxy S21 FE 5G Snapdragon variant receives February 2024 update

Last year, the Snapdragon 888 SoC version of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE received the all-new OneUI 6, which is based on Android 14 and now the company is rolling out the February 2024 Android security update in India.

The update is rolling out to Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Indian users and comes with a build version: G990B2XXS5FXA7. The size of this update is 310.68MB. It integrates the February 2024 security patch into the device for better device security and privacy.

The main purpose of software updates is to improve the system security of the device by incorporating the latest Android security measures. Additionally, the patch addresses various bugs and stability optimizations, improving the overall user experience.

Additionally, it fixes 72 security vulnerabilities that were found in the software of Android and Samsung smartphones and tablets. Since this firmware is just a security patch, don’t expect it to bring any new features or performance improvements. The Galaxy S21 FE is likely to bring new features with the One UI 6.1 update, and it will arrive before the end of the first half of this year.

If you have a Galaxy S21 FE phone and you are Indian, then you should check for the new update on your device right now. To do this, you need to open the Settings app and go to Software Update and Downloads and installs
