Samsung is rolling out the Galaxy S23 series and it is getting the June 2024 security patch update in the US. Now, the update has been spotted on carrier-locked devices including on T-Mobile and US Cellular networks, and the company is expected to soon provide the update to the unlocked variants as well.

US carrier-locked Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra Updated to June 2024 Security update

Users who own the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra locked to T-Mobile and US Cellular can identify the latest update by the firmware version numbers S911USQS3CXE3, S916USQS3CXE3, and S918USQS3CXE3, respectively.

The June 2024 security patch update does not bring any significant changes to your device, but it does provide some improvements to the overall security of the device. As per the official documents, the latest update improves the overall security of the device.

Going into the details, the June 2024 security patch brings around 60 fixes, where Google has brought 37 fixes and Samsung has brought 22 fixes, which improve the overall security of the device.

If you are using the Galaxy S23 series in the US, you can now update your device to the June security patch by going to the Software Update menu from Settings. If new firmware is available for your device, click on the Update button, but if you don’t find any new update, wait until you get the update.
