Samsung brought several Galaxy AI features with the Galaxy S24 and One UI 6.1, which was released for older devices up to the Galaxy S22. Samsung is reportedly planning to bring more Galaxy AI features with One UI 6.1.1 and the upcoming Galaxy foldable. Meanwhile, Samsung is working on bringing new Galaxy AI features to the Galaxy S24 series with the One UI 6.1.1 update.

Galaxy fans are wondering about the One UI 7 beta, as One UI 7.0 is under development internally, and the software will likely be released in beta for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S24, and other high-end phones in August. After a few weeks of testing, the stable One UI 7.0 update based on Android 15 will likely be released for the Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series devices later this year.
IceUniverse claims that One UI 6.1.1 is expected to arrive first on the Galaxy S24 in August, bringing new AI features including the AI functions seen on the Fold6, camera optimizations, and more.
The tipster said that One UI 6.1.1 is not a minor upgrade. As you know, Samsung has not released version X.1.1 for non-foldable smartphones before. But it is likely to be delivered in Galaxy S24 or other flagship eligible device in August due to the new Galaxy AI features.
The upcoming Galaxy Unpacked will be held on July 10 in Paris and at this event, Samsung will introduce Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 along with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. This update will also reach several foldable phones and tablets. Meanwhile, the Galaxy AI tools will be limited to select compatible Galaxy models.
