Galaxy Z Flip 5, Z Fold 5 get February 2024 security update in more countries

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphones have already received the latest security patch in the US. Now, the company has started rolling out the February 2024 security update for more countries.

According to the information, the latest security firmware fixes more than 70 issues to make the smartphone more secure, stable, and reliable. This update fixes smart suggestions, auto hotspot, bootloader, and other issues. This update ensures that you will not face any crashing or freezing issues while using the phone.

The February 2024 update for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 in Europe comes with One UI version F731BXXS1BXBE, while the new software for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 comes bearing One UI version F946BXXS1BXBE. Plus, it could be the last software update before Samsung rolls out the One UI 6.1 and Galaxy AI features update to these Galaxy Z series phones.

If you received the February 2204 update notification, install it now for a bug-free experience. You can also check for updates by going to the Settings app on your Galaxy smartphone and opening the Software Update section.

Now, tap on the Download and Install option. If this patch is available, you can follow the on-screen instructions to install the update on your Galaxy smartphone.

In mid-2023, Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 phones with Android 13-based One UI 5.1.1 software. These two Galaxy Z devices received the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 update a few months ago. In the next few months, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 may get the Android 14-based One UI 6.1 update with dozens of new features including Galaxy AI.
