Google is working hard to make the regular RCS-supported Messages app a viable alternative to other popular instant messaging apps like WhatsApp, Signal, etc. In this regard, the company is rolling out the noise cancellation feature of the Google Messages voice recorder for all users, after a long period of testing.

At the beginning of the month, Google Messages widely introduced a new voice recorder design, but not all users got the new noise cancellation feature and It’s now becoming widely available.
According to the information, in the noise cancellation feature of Google Messages’ voice recorder, after launching the new UI and tapping on record, you also see a separate tab named “Turn noise cancellation on/off” at the bottom of the window.
The noise-cancellation feature is available for all users, however, users who got the voice redesign have not got this ability. The options will only be available through the latest beta version, 20240523_04_RC00. Although it is available on all devices, it is not confirmed whether it will work smoothly or not.

On the other hand, Google Messages has also released the Voice Memo feature for the WearOS application. It lets users send and listen to voice memos directly from their wrists. Now, users can open a conversation and tap on the microphone icon to send a response, emoji, and keyboard input, and also users are getting more new features on WearOS and Pixel devices.
