Google is rolling out several new features and improvements to its native messaging app to make things easier for users. For instance, it has added “Select Recipients” to the UI, adopted the double FAB to promote Gemini, and more. In the future, Google plans to improve the way how photos will appear alongside text in RCS conversations in the Messages app.

Now the Google Messages team is developing a new way to show text along with photos in RCS conversion. According to the information, in the future users will get a new RCS photo and text UI, where the picture will appear on top and the messages will be linked together; this will be exactly like the other apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, and more.
According to 9to5Google, Google is changing the way photos sent alongside text appear in Messages RCS conversations, a small but nice redesign. According to the screenshots, the photo and text integration interface looks awesome, as you can see in the image below.
Like other developing features, the new change is currently in the testing phase, and Google is expected to provide an update to its native messaging app soon in the future, so if you are also eagerly waiting for the new change, you should keep an eye on the notification.

Currently, when you send a photo with text through the Google Messages app, the text appears above the photo in an RCS conversation, but when you send an SMS, the photo appears first, and the text appears right after that.
