Earlier this year, Google combined its Nearby Share file-sharing system with the Quick Share feature and then released this feature on all Android phones and tablets. Now, Google is preparing to integrate the Quick Share feature into its Files Manager app.

Files is a file management app developed by Google for file browsing, media consumption, and storage clean-up, and it already has a Share menu that lists Quick Share. However, the company is making things even better by integrating a direct shortcut to Quick Share by linking it to the Scan Document button.
Android Authority’s collaboration with Assemble Debug reveals that Google will soon introduce a direct floating button for Quick Share in the bottom right corner of the Files app. This new feature was found in the APK file of the latest version (1.4076.648107679.0) of the Files app.

The source discovered a Receive button that appears just below the Scan button. This new button serves as a shortcut for Quick Share, which prepares your Android device to receive files from other devices.
It is worth noting that not all the tools discovered in the development code have been publicly released. This new feature is expected to be available in a future update of Google Files, It makes things easier and faster than the Nearby Share method.
