Samsung has released the March 2024 security update for the Galaxy A14 5G in the US. The update has already been rolled out for most other mid-end smartphones including the Galaxy A32 5G, Galaxy A52 4G, Galaxy A52 5G, Galaxy A53 5G, Galaxy A33 5G, and Galaxy A54 5G.

Additionally, Samsung has rolled out the March 2024 update for carrier-locked models of the Galaxy A14 5G on the Verizon network in the USA. Notably, the update is already live in India and will expand to more regional users in the coming weeks.

According to the information, the new software update for carrier-locked units of Galaxy A14 has arrived in the US with firmware version A146USQS6CXC1 and installed the latest monthly security update.

March 2024 Security Update

The new update includes the March 2024 Security Update, which fixes more than four dozen security patches, including 2 critical, 35 high-level CVEs for the Android operating system, and 9 SVEs related to AppLock, bootloader, certain services, and Samsung One UI.

These patches are for security vulnerabilities found in previous firmware versions. However, it does not bring any new features or performance improvements.

Additionally, Samsung is also fixing several security vulnerabilities, some of which are critical and some of which are major. The company is also focusing on making Galaxy devices more stable, reliable and secure with this update.
