After the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Flip 4, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 users are receiving a new update with the March 2024 security patch in Europe. The latest update improves system security, stability, and performance.
The March 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 (SM-F711B) and Galaxy Z Fold 3 (SM-F926B) comes with One UI version F711BXXS7GXBD and F926BXXS6GXBD, respectively. It fixes several security issues, making your device more secure. The update is being rolled out for the Galaxy third-generation foldable devices in Europe. The Korean tech giant will soon make it available for more Galaxy devices.
According to the security patch description, the March 2024 security patch brings fixes for 2 critical and 35 high-level CVEs, while no medium-level CVEs have been fixed. Samsung also adds 9 enhancements to improve some apps and services, including AppLock, Bootloader, Some Services, and others.
To check for the latest update, open the Settings app on your Galaxy smartphone, then press Software Update and click on the Download and Install option. Now, follow the on-screen instructions to install the latest March 2024 update.
Additionally, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphones are eligible for the One UI 6.1 update and the Korean tech giant will soon release it for these foldable devices next month. Both of them are also eligible to get Android 15-based One UI 7.0 when Google makes it available later this year.
