At that time, it was powered by the Llama 2 Large Language Model (LLM). Meta AI is now available in India on WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and Meta.ai.

The social media king has started rolling out Meta AI on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp in India. The brand will also make it available on the web on this website. Meta’s Gen AI-powered chatbot will be available in India only in the English language. At the moment, it is not clear whether the company will make Meta AI available through updates to the apps of these platforms or a server-side change.
