Meanwhile, the company has started rolling out a Nothing OS 2.5.5 update for Nothing Phone 2a, which brings the latest April 2024 Android security patch.

This update focuses on enhancing the image quality and overall usability of the camera. This update delivers a next-level camera experience.

Nothing OS 2.5.5 April 2024 Update for Phone 2a: Features

As per the description given by the company, Nothing has optimized the Google Assistant wake-up experience to deliver a seamless search experience. Additionally, this update also optimizes the overall gaming experience and performance. Also, it has further optimized the pop-up view animation to feel more fluid.

In terms of camera improvements, Nothing OS 2.5.5 for Phone (2A) improved camera color saturation and increased camera loading speed. It has also optimized the blur accuracy as well as the overall clarity in portrait mode.

Apart from camera improvements, the update has so far fixed compatibility issues with some third-party launchers and stability issues with WiFi and Bluetooth connections. Furthermore, this update not only fixed the issue where the Night Light feature was ineffective on the lock screen, but also optimized the overall stability of the system.

Nothing Phone 2a users are getting an April 2024 update with Nothing OS version 2.5.5 and an installation package of 91 MB. Now, Phone (2a) users can download this update manually by going to Settings > System > System updates.
