Nothing Phone 3 will launch in 2025 with “AI” integration
Nothing CEO Carl Pei has confirmed that the Nothing Phone (3) will launch next year, meaning it will not be released in 2024. The announcement was made in a video and content posted on X (formerly Twitter), where Pei stressed the importance of “getting the product right”. However, the company had not confirmed the exact date for its Nothing Phone 3.
Carl Pei acknowledged the extraordinary delay in a video message, explaining that rather than integrating AI features in a rush like many competitors, the global tech giant is taking a more deliberate approach. He envisions a future where AI is seamlessly integrated at the system level, leading to a “highly personalized and dynamic user experience.”
He further added that his aim is to “build a bridge from today’s app-based user experience to the post-app world of tomorrow.” This vision is expected to be realized in the upcoming Nothing phone (3), which has new hardware and software features aimed at enhancing the user experience through AI capabilities.
Nothing has already started integrating AI into many of its products. Recent updates include ChatGPT integration in the Nothing Earbuds and the Nothing Phone 2, Phone 1, and Phone 2a, which adds a ChatGPT widget to the home screen and a new feature to paste content directly into ChatGPT from screenshots and clipboard pop-ups.
