One UI 6.1 coming soon to Galaxy S23 series with March 2024 patch

Right now, you need a Galaxy S24 phone to use Samsung’s latest AI features, but that’s changing in the coming weeks. Last month, Samsung confirmed that it would be expanding Galaxy AI features to the S23 series – including the S23 FE – as well as recent foldables and tablets as part of the upcoming One UI update. Now, the Korean tech giant is almost ready to enhance the Galaxy S23 series experience in Korea with the One UI 6.1 update.

The One UI 6.1 update will soon be released for Galaxy S23 models along with the March 2024 security patch. Along with the March 2024 security update, the One UI 6.1 update will include much-hyped AI features on the S24 series, including live translation capabilities, generative photo and video editing, and Google’s Circle to Search feature.

According to a community moderator, the One UI 6.1 update for the Samsung Galaxy S23 series will include the March 2024 security patch. This means that the Korean tech giant will release this major One UI update for the Galaxy S23 models in Korea sometime in March.

Notable, Samsung has already begun rolling out the March 2024 security update for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones in the US. However, it does not include the flagship One UI 6.1 edition with Galaxy AI features.

On the other hand, Samsung latest One UI is being tested for the Galaxy S23 in several countries. So, keep your eye on the device Settings >> Software Update section, One UI 6.1 update notification may come at any time.
