Last week, Samsung announced the availability of Galaxy AI features on more Galaxy devices through the new One UI 6.1 update to further the democratization of mobile AI. Recently, another internal test build of One UI 6.1 for the Galaxy S23 series has been spotted on Samsung’s servers.
Along with the Galaxy S23 series, One UI 6.1 will be available on the Galaxy S23 FE, Z Fold5, Z Flip5 and Tab S9 series from late March. Aligning with the recently launched Galaxy S24 series, this new update elevates users’ mobile AI experience through a hybrid approach that combines on-device and cloud-based AI.
A reliable tipster @tarunvats has spotted a test build of One UI 6.1 on the Samsung test server for the Galaxy S23 series. The test build has the firmware version S91xBXXU3CXBC the CSC code CXB9, indicating that the testing is underway for the Galaxy S23 series in India, the Middle East, and Europe.
Latest One UI update will some new features and improvements to the Galaxy S23, such as improved camera performance, enhanced privacy controls, and more to provide the newest and next-level experience.
Some of the Galaxy AI features include Chat Assist, Live Translate, Interpreter, Circle to Search with Google, Note Assist, Browsing Assist, and Transcript Assist. Additionally, Galaxy AI enables users to express their creativity with features such as Generative Edit, Edit Suggestion, Instant Slow-mo, and AI-generated wallpapers.
