Samsung is currently developing the Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 and Android 15-based One UI 7 major software updates for Galaxy devices. The One UI 7 beta is expected to launch in August this year, while the stable release is expected later this year with the Galaxy S24 series. A recent report suggests that the One UI 7 update is expected to bring the missing One UI security feature, App Lock feature, to Samsung phones and tablets.

@tarunvats33 has shared a lot of information about the One UI 7.0 software over the past few weeks. In his latest post, he talked about a new feature of One UI 7 App Lock, which will allow you to lock certain apps individually.
According to the information, a new option named App Lock appears, and it is listed below the Dual Messenger feature in the Advanced Features section of the Settings app. Currently, you cannot see any feature listed below Dual Messenger under Settings > Advanced Features.
Some reports have indicated that the One UI 6.1.1 update may delay One UI 7. The next One UI 6.1.1 update is just as big as One UI 6.1 and will bring new Galaxy AI features to the S24 series. Samsung may release One UI 7 features and enhancements for Galaxy S24 with a beta program in August. With the update, the company will bring some notable improvements and implement new features
