The OnePlus 11 smartphone has started receiving the new May 2024 security update, which brings some improvements and fixes to improve the performance of the device. As usual, this latest firmware has been released first in India and is expected to reach users in more regions in the coming days or weeks.

Moving on to the details, OnePlus 11 owners will be able to identify the May 2024 update through OxygenOS version CPH2447_14.0.0.800(EX01) and an installation package size of 705.75MB.

This update brings some system improvements to the OnePlus 11 device in certain scenarios to provide a more seamless experience. Also, it fixes a display issue where the app icon on the home screen might move slightly from where it should be after closing the app.

The update also fixes another issue where the volume from speakers and Bluetooth earphones might be low. Lastly, the update improves the security and stability grade for safer interpretation.
