OnePlus has kicked off a new OxygenOS update for the OnePlus 12R and OnePlus 11R smartphone that brings a June 2024 security patch. The update ensures finer improvements and optimizes the system’s stability. It also works on increasing the animation power of the device.

Currently, the June 2024 update for OnePlus 12R and OnePlus 11R users is hovering in India. Users are identifying the software with the OxygenOS version CPH2585_14.0.0.810(EX01) and CPH2487_14.0.0.805(EX01) and a software package of 1.05 Gigabytes.
This update not only brings the Gaussian blur effect when opening and closing app icons on the home screen, but also introduces transition animation when opening and closing home screen widgets. Also, it adds transition animation for the clock widget when the screen is turned off.

Moreover, it improves gaming stability by fixing the issue of the screen going black while playing games. Furthermore, the June 2024 security patch fixes various levels of exploits and issues in the system. Similarly, this patch also resolves hidden privacy flaws found in previous security updates as they could harm users’ data.

You can download this software update by visiting Settings > then tapping on About device > from here tap on OxygenOS version and then tapping on the consequent screen option to request new firmware. Adding to this, if patch is available the software may take some time to download the package and so does the installation procedure.
