OnePlus has started rolling out the April 2024 update for its older models OnePlus 9R and OnePlus 8T. The devices have already received several updates so far, and in the same series, they are receiving a new update that brings some new capabilities in system stability and compatibility along with other enhancements.

OnePlus 9R and OnePlus 8T are receiving the latest update based on OxygenOS 14, which comes with version numbers LE2101_14.0.0.600(EX01) and KB2001_14.0.0.600(EX01).

The OnePlus 9R and OnePlus 8T new firmware comes with the April 2024 Android security patch, along with features like the ability to perform fuzzy searches from the home screen search bar in drawer mode. This firmware also makes it feasible to activate the flashlight by pressing the volume down button when the screen is off.

The update redesigns the volume bar for ease of use and visual consistency, along with features like the ability to adjust the volume for individual apps based on your needs.
