OnePlus Watch 2 launched with WearOS 4

OnePlus has announced its Watch 2 and the wider rollout also includes India. OnePlus launched the first generation of the Watch in 2021 with the OnePlus 9 series, and it didn’t perform well. The Chinese tech giant is now ready to make up for lost time, and what better way than by introducing a new smartwatch?

Unlike the OnePlus Watch, the Watch 2 is powered by Google’s WearOS 4 platform and you get a Snapdragon Gen chip under the hood. But things get exciting as the battery life claims appear to be some of the highest claims in the ecosystem.

OnePlus Watch 2 specifications:

The OnePlus Watch 2 runs on both WearOS 4 and RTOS platforms which now benefits from the use of two operating systems on the device. OnePlus says it can switch all high-performance activities side-by-side.

OnePlus has also gone with a dual chipset mode, promising up to 100 hours of battery life, which is more than anything offered by the WearOS Watch.

Having WearOS on top of the Watch means that the Watch 2 has access to the Play Store for any app and a link to the Health Connect app for fitness tracking.

Along with the performance, OnePlus has also paid equal attention to the design and the materials used in making it which guarantees quality. It sports a 1.43-inch AMOLED display and the chassis is made of stainless steel.

The OnePlus Watch 2 has a 500mAh battery that delivers a full charge in one hour using the proprietary charging pin. It gets 32GB of storage and 2GB of RAM keeps the device running.

OnePlus Watch 2 Price

The price of OnePlus Watch 2 in India is Rs 24,999 and the company’s 46mm Wi-Fi model is available in the market. There are some bank offers which can help you get some discounts.
