Oppo Find X8 series, Realme GT6 Pro, and OnePlus 13 are tipped to have larger 6000 mAh batteries

Smartphone brands under the BBK Electronics umbrella, including OnePlus, Oppo, and Realme are preparing to launch their next flagship devices with massive 6000 mAh batteries. In a post on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, a tipster named “Smart Pikachu” claimed that these smartphone makers are expected to use the boast a massive 6000mAh capacity inside Oppo’s Find X8 Serries, next-generation book-style foldable, Realme GT6 Pro, and OnePlus 13.

For flagship smartphones, 5,000 mAh has been the de facto standard for a very long time, but recently we’ve seen some models go up to 5,400 mAh or even 5,500 mAh, and it looks like that trend will continue later this year.

It is worth noting that the OnePlus 13, Oppo Find X8, and Realme GT6 Pro will reportedly be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. Therefore, these phones can easily beat older flagships in terms of battery performance. If the use of larger batteries is true, this would significantly increase the weight of the phone.

To recall, the OPPO Find X7 series uses 5000 mAh batteries, while the Realme GT5 Pro and the OnePlus 12 equips slightly larger 5400 mAh battery. So, the Oppo Find X8, OnePlus 13, and Realme GT6 Pro are equipped with batteries with a 6000 mAh capacity, which is 1000 mAh and 600 mAh larger than the Find X7, OnePlus 12, and Realme GT5 Pro.
