Realme 12 Pro+ 5G Just Got Its First Android 15 Beta

Google I/O was silent about Android 15, but the US tech giant is set to introduce beta 2 for Pixel phones today. Meanwhile, the Android 15 beta program is now available on select partner phones and tablets and is foldable for the first time. Today, Realme is now joining the fun, with the first Android 15 beta now available for the Realme 12 Pro+ 5G.

Android 15 beta is finally going live for non-Pixel phones through the beta program. Many phones have received the first Android 14 beta including vivo X100, iQOO 12, OnePlus 12, OnePlus Open, Nothing Phone 2a, and the list goes on.

Realme 12 Pro+ 5G device has now received the Android 15 beta update! If you’re a developer with a Realme 12 Pro+ 5G and want to help beta test Android 15, this is a great opportunity. But there are things you shouldn’t forget; Some apps may not work properly. Android 15 beta is in the early stages of development and may not provide a stable enough user experience.

Unless you are a developer, we do not suggest installing this ROM, especially if you have little or no background in software development or installing custom ROMs. All actions you take are at your own risk, here are some known bugs available below.

Known Issues:

  • All user data will be erased during the upgrade.
  • Some system functions are not available.
  • Part of the interface display may look less than desirable.
  • Some applications may not work properly or be fully functional.
  • The system may have some stability issues.

For instance, your Realme 12 Pro+ 5G phone must have the baseline version Android 14 (RMX3840_14.0.0.902(EX01)) to install the Android 15 Developer Preview (RMX3840_14.0.0.01).

Requirements:

  • Back up your data
  • Charge your phone at least 30%
  • Make sure you are aware of all the risks
  • Beta is for Indian version only

You must have at least 4GB of storage and developer mode turned on to install this beta update. Now, go to Settings > Software Update > Settings in the top right corner > Select the manually selected installation package from the Realme Community website.
