One UI 6.1 update with AI features rolling out Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4 & Galaxy Tab S8 series starting May 2024

Today, Samsung confirmed that the One UI 6.1 with Galaxy AI feature is coming to the Galaxy S22, S22+, S22 Ultra, Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4, and all three Galaxy Tab S9 sizes in early May. Although we don’t have a specific launch date yet, it will come as part of One UI 6.1, and it looks like it really is the complete package.

Samsung is putting the following popular Galaxy AI features into the hands of more users around the world with One UI 6: Circle to Search with Google, Chat Assist, Interpreter, Live Translate, Note Assist, Transcript Assist, Browsing Assist, Generative Edit, edit suggestions and AI-generated wallpapers.

Samsung may also bring these features to some Galaxy A series hardware in the coming months, but I wouldn’t hold my breath. Although the Galaxy S24 series is going to receive OS upgrades for a full seven years, it would be quite disappointing if the company stopped such features.
