Users can identify the update through One UI build version G990EXXS8FXD1 and installation package of 248.39MB. This software is based on One UI 6.0 and the company will soon release One UI 6.1 update for this smartphone.

In July 2023, Samsung launched the Snapdragon 888 version of the Galaxy S21 FE in India. Samsung has released a new software update for the Snapdragon 888 variant of the Galaxy S21 FE, which brings the April 2024 security patch that fixes over 40 security issues.

As mentioned above, the update is available for Snapdragon variants and the company will soon extend it to Exynos models. However, the April 2024 security update is already available for S21 FE users in the US.
