Samsung started rolling out the June 2024 security patch with the Galaxy S24 series smartphone and then expanded it to a few more Galaxy smartphones including Galaxy S23, and Galaxy foldable smartphones. Right now, another Samsung flagship series – Galaxy S22 has started receiving the June 2024 update.

The June update improves several functions of the device to provide a seamless experience. The latest security patch fixes around 60 vulnerabilities and exposures found in Galaxy devices. Notably, it brings significant security enhancements, fixes 37 critical vulnerabilities within the Android operating system, and addresses 22 specific issues related to Samsung’s software.
Samsung Galaxy S22 gets June 2024 update in Europe
Samsung is currently rolling out this update for the Galaxy S22 series in Europe and will expand it to more markets soon. It is an initial rollout so it may take time to reach all Galaxy S22 smartphones.
June 2024 patch for Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra come with One UI build versions S901BXXSAEXEC, S906BXXSAEXEC, and S908BXXSAEXEC respectively.
The installation package size of the latest update is relatively small, you can download and install it to get a smoother usability experience.

If you don’t receive an update notification yet, then you can manually check and install the latest update by visiting Settings on your Galaxy smartphone, then clicking on the Download and install option following the Software Update section.
