Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 starts testing Android 14 based One UI 6.1

Samsung is currently rolling out the March 2024 security patch and also continues to work on One UI 6.1 to make it available for other Galaxy devices. Currently, the company has started internal One UI 6.1 testing for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphone.

According to tipster @theonecid, a new test build for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 smartphone has been spotted on the Samsung Test Server, indicating that internal testing of One UI 6.1 has begun for the device.

One UI 6.1 is undergoing testing for the six-generation Galaxy foldable with a firmware version F946USQU2CXC3. Testing is underway for the Galaxy Z Fold 5. The CSC code of the smartphone in the US is CXC3.

Additionally, the company is also testing One UI 6.1 on several other Galaxy devices including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy A53, Galaxy A52s, and others. The company is expected to start rolling out the One UI 6.1 update for flagships later this month.

On the other hand, Samsung is reportedly performing on a new version, the One UI 6.1.1. This new software is to come preloaded with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 devices, which are scheduled to be launched at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July 2024.
