Samsung Galaxy smartphone users who were impacted by the green or Pink line display problem have now been provided with some relief. Samsung has announced a free one-time screen replacement across its own affected handsets. With this, users can have the screen on their Samsung Galaxy smartphone replaced for free as they want under specific conditions.

Samsung’s latest move comes following outrage from several users over the One UI 6.0 April 2024 update that allegedly made green lines appear on the displays of Galaxy handsets. Affected phones include Galaxy S22 Ultra, S21 series, S20 series, and Note 20 series, which are compatible with the April 2024 update.
Samsung offer Free display, battery, and kit replacement for Galaxy S22, S21, S20, and Note 20
According to the report, Samsung India has extended the free one-time display replacement program for the Galaxy S22 Ultra, S21 series, S20 series, and Note 20 series. The company will replace its affected screen, battery, and rework kit by running the program for a limited period, even if your phone is out of warranty.
Additionally, Samsung India has confirmed to offer one-time free screen replacement within three years of purchase. It is noteworthy that authorized Samsung service centers are offering it till April 30, 2024.
