On May 15, 2024, Android 15 entered the beta 2 testing phase on Pixel devices. Additionally, Samsung will also adopt Android 15 for Galaxy devices, which will be available with One UI 7.0 later this year. Samsung started rolling out the Galaxy AI and One UI 6.1 update for up to older Galaxy flagships in early May 2024. These devices include the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy S21 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4/3, Galaxy Z Flip 4/3, and Galaxy Tab. S8 series. In January 2024, Samsung launched a bundle of AI features called ‘Galaxy AI’ with the Galaxy S24 series that will reduce latency, enhance privacy and security, dwell time, and more. Samsung Galaxy AI includes various tools, such as:

- Note Assist: it lets users create formats, generate summaries and translate notes.
- Browsing Assist: This AI feature enables individuals to keep pace quickly by generating comprehensive summaries of news articles.
- Transcript Assist: It can quickly transcribe meeting recordings and generate summaries and translations.
- Generative Edit: With this AI function, AI-supported Galaxy devices can easily resize, reposition, or realign objects in a photo to perfect a great shot.
- Edit Suggestion: Users can polish any photo faster and easier than ever before.
- Instant Slow-Mo: Plus, there is no need for multiple re-shots as Instant Slo-Mo can generate additional frames for slow-motion video to capture action-packed moments.
- AI Wallpaper Generator: This allows adding special effects to the wallpaper depending on weather conditions.
