Samsung May 2024 security update: List of Galaxy devices receiving it

Samsung resumes its dedication to delivering a top-notch user experience via regular software updates. In May 2024, Samsung began rolling out its One UI patch update with the Galaxy S24 devices, aiming to enhance performance, maintain reliability, and bolster security measures.

For Galaxy device owners, remaining up-to-date is important to enjoy an optimized experience. Therefore, Samsung has also shared the security patch bulletin for May 2024, which mentions fixes for a total of 45 vulnerabilities and exposures that were harming the devices’ security and users’ privacy.

The latest month’s security patch includes fixes for, 3 Critical levels and 26 High levels of CVEs. Simultaneously, 26 Galaxy-specific vulnerability fixes were affecting various One UI apps and services, and more.

However, Samsung has started to expand the reach of its May 2024 security patch for eligible devices and will seed the remaining smartphones with the latest month’s firmware in the coming days.
