Samsung is expanding the February 2024 security update of the Galaxy S23 series to the US. The latest software is rolling out on Verizon network carrier and the company soon make it available on all carriers. This update is already live for users in unlock.

February 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones in the US can be verified through the One UI build version mentioned below.
- Galaxy S23 – S911USQS2BXAD
- Galaxy S23 Plus – S916USQS2BXAD
- Galaxy S23 Ultra – S918USQS2BXAD
As per the security patch details, the latest February security patch fixes 75 issues including 1 critical, 68 high and 6 medium level CVEs for the Android operating system. However, 1 CVE was fixed by a previous update from the company and 4 CVE is not relevant to Galaxy devices.
The software update brings security improvements, stability optimization, and bug fixes for the smooth performance of the Galaxy S23 lineup devices. To check and install the February 2204 update, users just need to open Settings, press on the Software Update option, and then click on the Download and Install option.
Before downloading, make sure to connect your Galaxy device to a Wi-Fi network, or make sure it has a strong Verizon Wireless network connection. Also, make sure that your battery is fully charged before starting the firmware update.
