The screen burn-in protection feature was removed from Galaxy phones and tablets with OLED screens in the One UI 6 update. A few days ago, the Korean tech giant released One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series.

The Toranji team has tested One UI 6.1 (Via), and the screen burn-in protection feature works as expected. As you can see in the image below, the UI elements in the status bar and navigation bar on the Galaxy S23 Ultra jiggle slightly every few minutes.

The feature is compatible with all Samsung devices running One UI 6.1, making it accessible to a wider user base. The Korean tech giant reintroduces the screen burn-in protection option to enhance the user experience by providing security for its notifications and other sensitive inormtion..

Samsung is regularly trying its best to provide a satisfactory experience with One UI 6.1 and has requested the affected users to wait patiently for the update.
