These Samsung devices will get One UI 7.0 as the last major update

Google began releasing the developer preview of Android 15 in February 2024. Since then, the company has released several updates to the developer preview. In April, they launched the first beta release of Android 15. During the I/O 2024 event, Google released the second public beta version of Android 15 and some non-Pixel devices also joined it. However, Samsung has not joined the Android 15 beta. But in a few months, Samsung will release the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update for multiple devices. So, here you will see which Galaxy devices will get the One UI 6.0 update as the last major update.

Samsung Galaxy S24 series likely to be first to get One UI 7.0 (Android 15) update

Galaxy owners know that Samsung’s latest Galaxy S flagship is usually the first to get the next big One UI upgrade. This year, the Galaxy S24 series is expected to be the first to get One UI 7.0, which is based on Android 15. On the other hand, some Galaxy devices will get the One UI 7.0 update but will not get any major updates after that.

Apart from the Galaxy S24, Samsung will also release the One UI 7.0 beta program for other flagship devices including the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. The beta program will give users a chance to try out the new software before it is launched to the public.

One UI 7.0 beta may launch in August:

Samsung has not yet announced any specific release date for the Android 15 update for any of its devices. However, we can expect the One UI 7.0 beta update to start rolling out as early as August 2023, as the One UI 6.0 beta also started rolling out as early as August last year. The stable public version of One UI 70 should launch in the next two months.
